Future Transitions, Inc. was founded by Gail Lasker, Ph.D. in 1998. Dr. Lasker's doctorate is in Policy, Planning, and Leadership studies with an emphasis in Adult Learning.
Growing up, Dr. Lasker's parents' raised two developmentally disabled foster children along with their own five kids. Dr. Lasker has three children of her own, her oldest was diagnosed with autism at age 2. She personally understands the challenges and joys of raising a child with special needs. Many of the ideas used in training children in our agency are based on the training experience she had with her son.
Just prior to founding Future Transitions, Inc., Dr. Lasker was the Director of the Family Preservation Program at The Children's Center of the Antelope Valley and taught Psychology at Antelope Valley College. Dr. Lasker's professional and personal experience contributes significantly to the on-going success of Future Transitions, Inc.
